Stylist Oscar Blandi wanted to give Shields curls that still looked soft so he applied Oscar Blandi Volumizing Spray to her wet hair for fullness and lightness. After drying it and curling it with two different sized curling irons, a touch of Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil gave her mane extra sheen.

Matrix celeb stylist Mark Townsend (who, as a sidenote, is delightful; he blew out my hair the other day and now I’m totally obsessed with him) had just cut Ashley’s hair into an asymmetrical bob so they opted to leave it down. Said Townsend: “ I sprayed Biolage Bodifying Spray Gel in her damp hair and blow dried it. To keep her hair straight and shiny all night I used Vavoom Gold-Heat Iron In Control and ran and FHI Heat flat iron over the hair.”

I believe gossip girl blair started this trend since she was known for always wearing her rather unique headbands. Since than I’ve seen the different popular styles from forever 21 and people love this look. I even purchased a couple myself and I haven’t worn any yet but its definitely a trend I’m ready to try.
